🔥BurnMath

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026

This is the privacy policy for BurnMath (burnmath.com). The short version: we don't ask for your personal information, we don't make accounts, and we don't sell data. The longer version is below.

What information we collect

BurnMath operates as a free online calculator. The numbers you type into the calculator (age, height, weight, activity level, body fat %) never leave your browser. The math runs entirely client-side in JavaScript. We have no server that stores or even sees your inputs.

When you visit any page on the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes basic technical request data to deliver the page to you. This includes:

This is standard for any website on the internet and is what makes web requests work. We use Cloudflare's free Web Analytics, which is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies or fingerprinting.

Cookies

BurnMath does not set any first-party cookies of its own. We do not use Google Analytics or any analytics product that drops cookies. If we add Google AdSense in the future (see below), Google may set cookies for ad personalization, at which point this policy will be updated and a cookie consent banner will be shown to visitors in regions that require it (EU/UK).

Advertising

BurnMath may, in the future, display advertisements through Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This processing is done by Google according to Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. When ads are live, this policy will be updated to reflect their presence.

Third-party content

The page loads two external scripts to function: Tailwind CSS (from cdn.tailwindcss.com) for styling and Chart.js (from cdn.jsdelivr.net) for the trajectory chart. These CDNs may log technical request data per their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

BurnMath is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this site.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect or store personal data tied to you, there is no personal record for us to access, correct, or delete. If Google AdSense becomes active, your rights regarding the data Google processes are governed by Google's privacy policy, and you can exercise those rights through Google's tools directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for 30 days.
